Jericó es una iglesia bíblica, evangélica y misionera, fiel al Evangelio de la salvación, en espera del regreso glorioso de nuestro Señor Jesucristo para ir a casa con el Padre Celestial. Jericó es una congregación afiliada a la Convención Bautista del Sur y plantada por la Iglesia Bautista West Brownsville.

Predicamos el mensaje del Evangelio de Jesús el Mesías dentro y fuera del templo, bautizando en inmersión total en las aguas a toda persona confesando su fe y arrepentimiento en el nombre de Jesús.

Sin un local al cual llamar propio, Jericó inicio como un grupo de nuevos creyentes queriendo conocer y crecer más en el conocimiento de nuestro Padre y su prueba de amor Jesús el Cristo. Ahora estamos en un local alquilado desde abril 2019, donde ahora el grupo inicial es mayor con nuevos siervos que alaban juntos y llevan el mismo mensaje que recibieron y en el cual continúan viviendo.

Jerico is a biblical, evangelical, and missional church,

faithful to the Gift of salvation, awaiting for the return of our Lord Jesus to go home with our Heavenly Father.

Jerico is a congregation affiliated to the Southern Baptist Convention and planted by West Brownsville Baptist Church.

We preach the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in and out of the temple, baptize by full immersion in water those repented of their sin.

With no location to call home, Jerico started as a group of believers wanting to grow in faith and knowledge of our Father and His proof of love through Christ Jesus. Now leasing a space since April 2019, we grew into a group of faithful servants that worship God together and taking the same message we once heard and continue to live in.

Mi nombre es Salvador

y este es mi testimonio:

Desde niño crecí con valores cristianos, asistiendo a la escuelita dominical y estudios bíblicos. Cuando cumplí la edad de 15 años acepté al Señor Jesucristo como mi Señor y Salvador, pero en ese mismo tiempo empecé a trabajar y comenzaron a cambiar mis amistades.

Por mi trabajo deje de asistir al templo con frecuencia y deje a un lado la relación personal que tenía con Dios. Dejé de hacer lo que era bueno y empecé a hacer lo que sabía que no era agradable a Dios. Tomé decisiones con base a mi criterio sin tomar en cuenta la voluntad de Dios.

Fue hasta la edad de 29 años que comprendí que la mejor decisión que uno puede tomar es entregarle nuestra vida completamente al Señor Jesucristo. Él me ha mostrado la gran paciencia que ha tenido conmigo y ahora que he decidido servirle, puedo experimentar un cambio verdadero en mi vida.

My name is Diana and this is my story:

Originally from Mexico, my life was a living hell. I was verbally, mentally & emotionally abused by my own husband and father of my 5 kids. He forced me into prostitution for many years.

After escaping from that house, I made my way to the USA where I learned quick that God now had a new purpose and life for me. After feeling worthless, damaged and consumed by drug addiction, the message of New Life in Christ Jesus gave me hope.

As my Lord and Savior, now I have a new life, He gave me new worth, a fresh start and He is working on healing the wounds of my past life.

I thank Jerico church for letting themselves to be used by the Lord to preach to people on the street. I'm a life transformed because of their outreach.

Praise the Lord for He is good & his time perfect!

Lo que creemos Our Beliefs

La salvación y acceso al Padre Celestial

es solo por medio de Jesús.

Creemos en Dios, el Padre Todopoderoso,

el Creador de los cielos y tierra,

y en Cristo Jesús, El unigénito Hijo de Dios, nuestro Señor:

Concebido por el Espíritu Santo,

nacido de una joven virgen llamada María.

Él vivió en este mundo y fue tentado,

pero nunca cedió al pecado.

Fue crucificado, murió y fue sepultado.

Al tercer día se levantó de los muertos.

Resucitado, se le presento a mucho para dar testimonio

de Su resurrección. El ascendió al cielo y está sentado

a la mano derecha del trono del Padre Todopoderoso Dios,

donde aguarda para regresar a juzgar a muertos y vivos.

Creemos en Dios el Padre,

en Cristo Jesús, Hijo de Dios,

en el Espíritu Santo, en la congregación de su pueblo,

en el perdón de pecados por el arrepentimiento,

y en la vida eterna después de la muerte.

Salvation, forgiveness of sin, and access to the Heavenly Father

is only through Jesus.

We believe in God, the Father Almighty,

the Creator of heaven and earth,

and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord:

Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit,

born of a virgin (Mary),

He lived in this world and was tempted,

but had no sin.

He was crucified, died, and was buried.

On the third day He rose from the dead.

Resurrected He appeared to many to give testimony

of His resurrection. He ascended into heaven

and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty,

whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.

We believe in the God the Father,

in Christ Jesus, son of God,

the Holy Spirit, the gathering of His people,

the forgiveness of sins upon true repentance,

and life everlasting after death.
